First report on the continuing field survey, by the IPP Amsterdam, of the archaeology of the Agro Pontino - the coastal area, south of Rome, between the Via Appia and the sea. It contains papers on the survey, the history of the marshes, the geology, the soils, palynology, the sampling method, visibility of artefacts, analysis of lithics and ceramics found.
