This examination of the predynastic skeletal remains from Naga-ed-Der is a revised 1982 Berkeley thesis. Excavated around the turn of the century, the bones are now inevitably dispersed and partly destroyed. What survives is here subjected to modern analysis: determination of age, sex and study of pathological and congenital perculiarities.
