Text in Danish. History of the Kingdom of Denmark begins in Camps Zealand. This was according to sagas and chronicles shield Pup royal estate. But the stories about them are legends and myths, not history. Archaeological excavations have shown that Camps was the seat of a great man or king in the late Iron Age and Viking Age (500-100 AD). The book is about the halls, tombs and finds, inter alia, hoards, which helps to draw a new picture of this fabled locale and written by curator Tom Christensen, who for many years has been responsible for the excavation of Roskilde Museum.
