Children in War is a story about vulnerable and helpless children around the world at the mercy of pompous leaders, who perpetually endanger them through bloody conflicts and severe poverty due to the depletion of the state budget caused by the war efforts. This is a story of one of them, a frightened poverty-stricken child who never imagined that he would survive a harsh upbringing and get to study at university and excel in completing two academic degrees, in addition to his success in becoming an influential journalist and a lecturer. A scarred fragile boy who never dreamt of being accepted into a commando unit in the best army in the world, and participating in the most dangerous and challenging operations.

The following story is based on real events and is accompanied by original photographs taken at the time. It is narrated by a boy who lived his childhood and youth under fire, but when he grows up, he joins a commando unit to take revenge on the enemy who ruined his childhood. This is also an account of many youngsters who were reluctant to take part in an adult war.
