This book may only run to 65 pages but it packs a lot in, looking in detail at the car's minutiae - for example, the wheels having 24 or 32 screws depending on date and specification - and various offshoots. There's a focus on motor sport and a surprisingly lengthy section on scale models. Image reproduction - even the historic ones - is crisp and clear.

Lance Cole has written a book that is a great starting point for a series that will be successful and to learn more about this jewel that still races through the roads of various countries in races dedicated to her. The author's book (which is a member of the Bugatti Owner's Club and the Bugatti Trust) at 64 pages is just a starting point to get to know better and become passionate about this fantastic car, but it is a great starting point.

About Lance Cole
Lance Cole has been a motoring and aviation writer and PR for over 30 years. He is also an internationally published photographer, illustrator and designer. The author of over 20 books, he has a parallel career as a news correspondent and TV camera-journalist. But it is old cars and their design and driving that fascinates him. He has driven Saabs all over the world and contributed to Saab design when he was a young design student. Lance wrote Erik Carlsson’s obituary for the Daily Telegraph.
Lance currently lives in England but yearns for a return to the outback of Australia where old cars rule.
