Calum Johnson studied French and History at Durham University, graduating with first-class honours in 2019. He has since gained an MA in Journalism from the University of Salford and was shortlisted for the NCTJ ‘Student of the Year’ award in 2020. In autumn 2022, he graduated with an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Manchester.
He has written in print and online for several newspapers in the North West, including the Bolton News and Lancashire Telegraph. He has previously undertaken translations for the humanitarian organisation Translators Without Borders, and currently works as a Translation Project Manager, co-ordinating translations for public-sector bodies.
